Phage endolysin activity in SDS-PAGE with the non-denaturing condition. The protein from the phage lysate was mixed with sample buffer without β-mercaptoethanol and subjected to SDS-PAGE without boiling. The SDS-PAGE gel was placed onto an agar-containing plate, and soft agar mixed with MDR-AB02 was overlaid. The protein with endolysin activity produced a clear region on the overlay.
