Influence of the NPT and BPT compounds on active growth of M. tuberculosis. MTB cells were grown for 12 days as described in the “Methods” section. The histogram shows inhibitory effect of the compounds tested at the 12th day from the beginning of the experiment. In the Inset, the growth curves in the presence of the inhibitors and control (without addition of the compounds) are shown. The compounds were added at the concentrations of 25, 50, 100 µM in triplicates (shown in different colors). The error bars represent the standard deviation of the measurements. The Roman numerals in the brackets correspond to the compounds’ numbers listed in the Table 1
