Bacterial cell wall integrity under oxacillin treatment (8 μg/ml). Samples were collected for Gram staining at 0, 1, and 3 h to visualize the bacterial cell wall under a microscope. The proportion of bacteria cells demonstrated as Gram-negative among every 100 total cells, was manually calculated according to three microscope fields for each sample.
