The sensitivities of Candida albicans, Escherichia coli, and Bacillus cereus to neat Octodrine. Plates were treated with 5 μl of undiluted Octodrine after spreading of 200 μl of liquid Candida (25 × 106 cells) or bacterial cultures (600 × 106 cells) on 10 cm petri dish and left to incubate overnight in either 37 °C for C. albicans and E. coli or in 30 °C for B. cereus. The size of the zone of inhibition on each image is shown with the same scale (mm), with standard deviation values are shown in Additional file 1 Table S4
