The search for new antifungal drugs. a Analysis of C. albicans strain SN250 treated with various drugs. The strains were grown and exposed to drugs determined to be drugs of interest by our chemical screen. The size of the zone of inhibition on each image is shown with the same scale (mm), with standard deviation values are shown in Additional file 1: Table S1. Plates were treated with drugs after spreading of 200 μl of liquid Candida culture and left to incubate overnight in either 25 or 37 °C. b The hits were classified into three classes: Antifungal, Antimicrobial, and Miscellaneous drugs. Numbers within grey circles represent number of drugs of each class in JHCCL, while numbers in the transparent middle circle shows the number of hits of drugs from our screen
